Hi Everyone,
We have amended our Tournaments Fixtures due to our fixture error that resulted in Men's Groups E, F, G and H playing the round-robin Preliminaries in an unfair manner. Please refer to our previous post on Updated Tournament Fixtures for the revised match fixtures.
Men's Groups E, F, G and H will now play 4 matches each in full round-robin, instead of 3 matches each in the partial round-robin that was planned before. The additional match per team is to ensure that all Men's teams will be pitted against each other in each Men's Group, as only the Top Team from each Men's Group will proceed to the Men's Quarterfinals.
We apologise for the inconvenience of this last minute change, and hope that all participants will accomodate our rationale.

Men's Groups A, B, C and D: Reporting time is at 1100 hrs sharp.
Men's Groups E, F, G and H: Reporting time is at 1230 hrs sharp.
Women's Groups X and Y: Reporting time is at 1500 hrs sharp.

Preliminaries: Top 1 Team from each Men's Group will enter Men's Quarterfinals.
Men's Quarterfinals will be played starting from 1615 hrs to 1700 hrs (Pitch 2 and 3, in red boxes)
Men's Semifinals will be played from 1730 hrs to 1745 hrs (Pitch 1 and 2)
Men's Finals and 3rd/4th will be played from 1745 hrs to 1800 hrs (Pitch 1 and 2)

Women's Semifinals will be played from 1730 hrs to 1745 hrs (Pitch 3 and 4)

Registrations for Futsal Open.08 are officially closed!
We will be sending all teams the tournament fixtures soon, as well as other details about the tournament.
For all participants, there will be a shuttle bus from Kallang MRT to The Cage for your convenience.
The timings are as follows:
Bus shift 1: 1030hrs, 1050 hrs, 1110hrs.
Bus shift 2: 1400hrs, 1420hrs, 1440hrs.
Directions to reach The Cage can be found at http://new.thecage.com.sg/home/where-the-heck-is-the-cage
When you arrive at The Cage, please head to the Futsal Open reporting counter to mark your team's attendance. We will then assign you to our friendly team handlers, and from there on you will head to your pitches for your first match.

You can sign up with us or hand in your registration forms at our booth. Remember to bring your payments and indemnity forms too!
We also accept online submissions.
Our FASS Clubroom is always open for any queries and registration.

About Futsal Open 08!
Futsal Open.08 has been a highly successful annual event organized by the NUS FASS Club since 2003. Futsal is basically a competitive futsal tournament that encompasses two teams of five players, one of whom is the goalkeeper. The game is played wholly indoors, with two categories for this event – Men’s and Women’s.
Our event is Football Association of Singapore (FAS) sanctioned, with professional referees to ensure the highest levels of game play and fair competitive atmosphere.
Fabulous prizes are to be won for both Men’ and Women’s categories, and for fringe programmes!
Come join us to experience this futsal fiesta and soak in the atmosphere of Futsal Open.08!
